Attend to this
as to a lamp shining in a dark place,
until the day dawns
and the morning star rises in your hearts.

In a house at midnight
even moonlight through the window
can light your way.
By the light of a faint star
slaves found their way
to freedom.
Even in thickest night
my Presence quietly shines,
not a searchlight, but enough.
