Lyrics:

O God, beneath the moon so bright
I give myself to you tonight
to hold me in your blessings deep
and re-create me as I sleep.

Now all that I have done today,
God, humbly at your feet I lay;
lead me to learn what I may see,
and, good or ill, then let it be.

I pray, dear God, forgive my sin:
tomorrow, then, I may begin,
made new by grace, and not my skill,
more perfectly to serve your will.

And all that I have done in love
receive and bless, and bear above
and use according to your will,
while I am sleeping, mute and still.

I go into this darkness blessed,
my soul and body’s Sabbath rest.
God, hold me in your arms tonight,
and raise me with the dawn’s new light
